Salem, March 3. On Thursday the first of this instant being
the happy anniversary of her Majesty's birth day, the
principal gentlemen, merchants and inhabitants of this town,
met in the evening at the Town-House, which was beautifully
illuminated, and drank the King's. Queen's, the Royal
Family's, and other healths, usual on the like occasions; at
which time sundry guns were distinctly discharged; and the
evening concluded with dancing in the said Town-House, and
all things were carried on with decency and good order.
