London, Oct. 25. The marriage of the Princess Royal with
the Prince of Orange is to be conducted in the most splendid
and magnificent manner imaginable, their Majesties having
given orders that no costs should be spared to make it as
grand as may be. The ceremony is to be performed not in the
Chappel Royal, but in that elegant one built by Inigo Jones,
to which there will be a grand entrance made from the
garden. The Chappel is to be hung with velvet and tapestry,
and will be splendidly illuminated and richly ornamented.
There will be performed a very fine anthem suitable to the
occasion, composed by Dr. Green for voices and instruments;
the verses are to be performed by the Reverend Mr. Abbot,
Mr. Hughes and Mr. Chelsam; the other vocal parts by the
rest of the gentlemen of his Majesty's Chappel Royal.
On Saturday night the Prince of Orange's baggage was landed;
and his highness is expected here every hour.
