The following description of the Silk-Mills erected at
Derby, with the verses on them . . . [2 lines] This engine
contains 26,586 wheels, 97,746 movements, which work 73,728
yards of silk every time the water wheel goes round, which
is thrice in a minute. . . [6 lines]
VERSES ON THE SILK-MILLS
  Wondrous machine!  Thy curious fabrick shows
  How far the power of human knowledge goes.
  Ten thousand, thousand movements all [amend]
  Upon one wheel, and on that cause depend.
. . . [2 more 6-line verses; 1 2-line verse.]

machine.
