Last Tuesday a woman of a scandalous character, who had gone thro' the discipline at Bridewell, not being an inhabitant of this town, was conducted over the Neck by an officer, and a number of merrily-dispos'd persons, attended with instruments of musick to delight her ear, and was delivered up according to law, to the next town, and from thence she is to be carried from to town to town, till she comes to the place of her proper residence. |
