Wednesday next our new Exchange will be open'd with a grand
ceremony suitable to the occasion. The following is an
extract from an intended poem on that subject, address'd to
Sir Abraham Elton, Bart. Mayor; and the corporation.
See, see, at length the finish'd structure rise;
A structure that with (a) Gresham's labours vies !
A stately pile, by publick spirit plann'd,
Politely finish'd---regularly grand!
