Ran-away last night, being the 19th inst. from his master
John Johnson of Boston, Jack-maker, a Negro man servant
named Jo, about 23 years of age; a likely fellow, who had on
when he went away, a dark coloured fly coat with white flat
buttons, swanskin double breasted jacket, leather breeches,
a pair of high heel'd thick sol'd shoes: He can play well
on a flute. He has a large scar on his upper lip. Whoever
shall take up the abovesaid runaway, and him safely convey
to his abovesaid master in Boston aforesaid, shall have ten
pound old tenor, reward, and all necessary charges paid.
And all masters of vessels and others, are hereby caution'd
against concealing, or carrying off said servant on penalty
of the law.
