From the London Gazette, May 21, 1763.  St. James's, May 18. 
This day, a most numerous body of the merchants and traders
of the city of London waited on his Majesty; and being
introduced to his Majesty by the Earl of Gower, Lord
Chamberlain of the household,. . . made their compliments on
the following address. . . [10 paras]
The bells of St. Michael's Cornhill, rang all day on account
of the merchants going to address the King.
