London, June 18. There were very great rejoicings in London
and Westminster, on the anniversary of the birth-day of his
Majesty.
Most of the nobility, who were at court on Saturday, were
dressed in English manufactories, as were also their
Majesties and all the royal family.
We are informed, that the grand illuminations and music at
Buckingham-house on Monday evening last, were prepared by
her Majesty without the knowledge of the King, and that when
his Majesty came there he was most agreeably surprized with
the brilliancy of the appearance, and the harmony of the
performers.
