the London Book-Store, head of King-Street, North-side of
the Court-House, Boston. The Connoisseur, written by Mr.
Town, critic and censor general of Great Britain.
A collection of the most witty an entertaining essays,
written in the manner of the Spectator and Tatler; what
Shakespear call the " form and pressure of the times, " is
more immediately visible in the Connoisseur, than in any
