Last Thursday evening, a countryman leading his horse from
the sign of the lamb to Alexander Reid's shop on the
opposite side of the street, had his saddle bags stole, in
which were two pounds of tea, two pounds of indigo, two
bibles, two Tansur's music books, and half a pound of
pepper.
