Petersburgh, (Russia), December 5. A few days ago the court
received from the general Count de Panin, commander in chief
of the second army, a circumstantial account of the
expedition of the Count de Witgenstein, near Bender, . . .
[2 lines] In the several little engagements he had with the
enemy, the latter were always defeated, and the Russians,
besides prisoners, took from them five pair of colours, a
general's staff of command, a pair of kettle-drums, 264
camels, 21,000 horses, 11,500 oxen, and 67,000 sheep.
