James Joan hereby acquaints the publick, that he has removed
into the house lately occupied by Mr. Wallis, nearly
opposite to Benjamin Hallowell, Jun. Esq.'s, in Hanover-
street, where he teaches the violin, bass-viol and German
Flute: He also teaches the French language, either
grammatically or methodically, with its true accent and
pronunciation, it being his Mother-tongue, which he has
taught for several years past: He adapt his methods to the
capacity of the scholars, and to the time they can afford to
spend with him.
The manufacture of violins, bass-viols, &c. is still
carried on by him at said place, in the greatest perfection,
from two to ten guineas price.
