The subscriber, as being the first founder, and having a
great expence of time, trouble, &c. instructed a band of
music to perform before the regiment of militia in this
town; and having been encouraged to expect the advantage of
a benefit concert at Faneuil-Hall, in consideration of his
pains, would beg leave to advertise that he has obtained
leave for the same. [signed] Josiah Flagg.
For his benefit, will be performed in Faneuil-Hall, a
concert of vocal and instrumental music, intended on
Thursday the 28th instant. Further particulars are to be
inserted in our next.
Tickets to had at Messis. Cox & Berry's, Lee & Roberts's,
and at the printers, at half a dollar each.
