At the new school-house, in Providence on Thursday next,
being the 12th of August will be perform'd a concert of
musick, vocal and instrumental.
To begin exactly at 7 o'clock. Vivat Rex.
Between the several parts of the concert will be presented
(gratis) a tragedy, call'd
The Fair Penitent.
Sciolto, by Mr. Allyn, Altamont, Mr. Quelch. Lothario, Mr.
Hallam. Horatio, Mr. Douglass. Rossano, Mr. A. Hallam.
Calisto, by Mrs. Douglass. Lavinia, Mrs. Morris. Lucilla,
Mrs. Hallam.
To which will be added (gratis) a pastoral farce call'd,
Damon and Phillida.
Damon, by Mr. Stuart. Mopsus, Mr. Quelch. Areas, Mr. Allyn.
Phillida, Mrs. Morris. Cymon, Mr. A. Hallam. Corydon, Mr.
Morris.
There will be a concert on Friday and every day next week
except Saturday.
