Boston, September 20. On Thursday last, being the day
appointed by his excellency the governor for a public
rejoicing on the occasion of the reduction of the Havannah
to his majesty's arms: [sermon] At one o'clock the bells
in town were rung, and continued ringing the remainder of
the day;. . . In the afternoon his excellency the governor,
with the whole general court with a number of the civil and
military officers of the town, were escorted by the company
of cadets to concert hall, where his majesty's and other
loyal healths were drunk, and a concert of musick performed
by the gentlemen concerned in the management of it;. . .
