Deserted from his majesty's 44th regiment of foot, and
lieutenant-colonel William Eyres's Company.
John Bicar, drummer. He is about 20 years of age, 5 feet 7
inches high without shoes, fair complection, round faced,
grey eyes, dark brown hair, born in Germany, by trade a
caulker.
N.B. Received a large cut on the bridge of his nose, since
he went on furlough; has with him his discharge from the
late Col. Murray's regiment at Quebec, as drum major, went
off in the 44th's regimentals.
