London, Mar 24. During the time that the late Mr. Guslow
was speaker of the House of Commons, a member of that house,
remarkable for being a sloven, smoaking and chewing tobacco,
and one who never spoke a word in that august assembly, came
in booted and spurred. After some little time spent in
looking round, and surveying the house, he began to whistle
and make a noise: being called to order by the speaker, he
sang several short jocular songs, which intirely interrupted
the business of the house.
