Stolen from the subscriber of Goshen, the 12th of instant
October. . . [5 lines describing horse and accoutrements] 
The thief is one Thomson Bacon, about 25 years of age, about
5 feet 6 inches high, light coloured hair, some red spots in
his face; had on when went away, a small brim'd oldish
beaver hats loop'd with silver cord, a tincy lace hatband, a
raprastrel, light blue sagathee coat, striped vest, cloth
breeches, is apt to play at cards, and is a good dancer. 
Whoever will take up said Bacon and horse, and bring them to
be, shall have five dollars reward, and necessary charges
paid, by [signed] Samuel Ovet.
