Just imported, and to be sold wholesale and retail by
William Ellery, at this wine-cellar and earthenware store,
near the Great-Bridge, Hartford, very cheap, for ready pay
only, vis. Choice old Madeira, Tenerief, Lisbon, Fyall,
Malaga, and red port, Frontinac & claret wines, in bottles,
Bristol beer and London porter in ditto; Brandy & geneva,
loaf, best muscovado & common brown sugar, cases and casks;
cherry rum, metheglin, clove, orange and aniseseed cordials,
rum, molasses, pepper, alspice, cloves, nutmegs, cinnamon,
mace, ginger, rice, choice Bohea tea, coffee, flower of
mustard by the pound in bottles, Scotch snuff, Holland
scates, Simpson's (Royal Exchange) fifes, velvet corks,
cotton-wool, etc.
Also, a very large and elegant assortment of china, glass,
earthen stone, and Delf ware, consisting of every article
either useful or ornamental, usually enquired for, and too
numerous to particularize in an advertisement. Constant
attendance will be given at said store, and the most civil
and obliging treatment may be expected, of which he is
capable; which, together with the lowness of his prices, he
hopes will give full satisfaction to all those who are
pleased to favour him with their commands.
