Deserted from Capt. Noadiah Hooker's company, Col. Mott's
regiment, bound to the northward, a soldier that called his
name William Hunt. Is about 5 feet 8 inches high, perhaps
28 years old, a peaked chin, a down guilty look; he wore
away and carried with him a red brown coat and vest, a pair
of leather breeches, patch'd with new leather, a frock and
brown trowsers, a pair of new shoes, an old felt hat, loop'd
with tape, he pretends to understand shoemaking, fidling and
drumming; he said he belonged to Hardwick, in Massachusetts
colony . Whoever will secure said fellow and return him to
his regiment, shall have five dollars reward and necessary
charges paid, by [signed] Noadiah Hooker, Capt.
