Philadelphia, July 4. When Sir William Howe, General
Burgoyne, and Sir Henry Clinton embarked for America in the
year 1775, the following lines appeared in a London paper:
"Behold! the Cerberus the Atlantic plough,
Her precious cargo Clinton Burgoyne Howe.
Bow Bow Bow!
We leave it to our readers to determine, whether those
military "dogs of war" have done anything but bark every
since they came to America.
