Runaway from his master, in Suffield, on the 3d inst. a
Negro man, named Boston, about 27 years old, thick-set, and
well built, of a copper colour: Had on when he went away, a
lightish brown broadcloth coat (which had been darn'd) a
dark brown broadcloth vest, light coloured camblet breeches,
white yarn stockings, and a white Holland ruffled shirt.
Said Negro is about 5 feet 6 inches high, speaks good
English, and plays poorly on a fiddle. Whoever will return
said Negro to me, shall have 500 dollars reward, and
charges: or, if secured in any of the states gaols, and
notice given me, 200 dollars, and all charges paid, by
[signed] Shem Burbank.
