TO THE ARMY NOW INLISTING FOR THE INVASION OF CANADA. Dear
Countrymen, My heart is towards the valiant sons of New-
England, who so willingly offer themselves, to jeopard their
lives in the high places of the field, for the honour of
their kind, and the safety of their country. . . [9 lines
urging the enlistees to "go with God."] Let not an oath,
nor any profane word be heard in all the camp; but rather
prayers and songs of praise. The army of the King of
Prussia, pray and sing psalms, and trust in God, and fight,
and drive all before them. . . [21 lines that tell of
prayers that will be offered for them and urging them to
"return to the Lord."]
