In the Bristol Journal we find advertised, the celebrated
Glassychord, invented by Mr. Franklin, of Philadelphia; who
has greatly improved the musical glasses and formed time
into a compleat instrument to accompany the voice; capable
of thorough bass, and never out of tune.---Miss Davis, form
London, was to perform in the month of January, several
favourite airs, English, Scotch, and Italian, on the
Glassychord (being the only one of the kind that has yet
been produced) accompanied occasionally with the voice and
German flute---Vivar Rex & Regina.
