Boston, August 21. Monday last was celebrated the
anniversary of the 14th of August, 1765, the day of the
union and firmly combined association of the Sons of Liberty
in this province, without the least view of licenciousness,
in a constitutional opposition to illegal, oppressive and
arbitrary measures, at home and abroad. At 11 o'clock A.M.
the Sons of Liberty assembled at Liberty Tree, High Street,
Great-Elm, South End, Boston, where the following toasts
were given out, viz.

After this the Sons of Liberty repaired to Liberty-Tree
Tavern, Mr. Robinson's, Dorchester. The company there
assembled being above 300, dined together under a tent
pitched for this purpose. During the entertainment a
variety of colours were flying, music played, and at proper
intervals cannon were fired.
