Paris. (in France) Sept 17. Great numbers of robberies have
lately been committed in this city, and a few days ago the
coachman, of a famous dancing master attempted to kill his
master by stabbing him with a knife, which he afterward
applied to his own throat. Neither of the wounds proved
mortal, and the villain was secured and sent to prison, in
order to suffer as the law directs; but dying since in
prison, he was last Tuesday hanged up by the feet upon the
Quay.
