Boston, November 3. At Messrs Braidwood's Academy, London,
The Deaf are taught to speak and read distinctly, to write
and understand written language; to have a knowledge of the
principles of mortality and religion; to converse by
observing the motion of the lips, &c. Also arithmetic,
geography, drawing, &c. Also being instructed in the
knowledge of language, they may be taught any art or
science, practical music excepted, and to translate one
language into another. Impediments in speech are likewise
effectually removed.
