We are well informed that the parish of Byfield, in consideration of the increasing prices of the necessaries of life, have very generously added twenty pounds lawful money to the last years salary of their minister, the Rev. Mr. Parsons. A correspondent wishes that conduct so just and humane, may find imitators in the several towns and parishes in this state, with respect to their ministers and choir-masters. |
