The last Madrid Gazette, has the following article: by
dispatches which arrived here on the 24th of June, the court
have received the most important intelligence from the West-
Indies, stating that his Majesty's forces, commanded by Don
Galvez, had certainly driven the English from their
establishments. . . [15 lines] orders were issued for
singing Te Deum in all the churches of Madrid, and for
general illuminations, and other demonstrations of joy, for
three successive days.
