The overseers of the poor, take the earliest opportunity to
acknowledge their obligation to Mr. Billings, and the
Society of Singers connected with him, for their voluntary
aid to the distressed persons under their care in the Alms-
House, for their agreeable performance of a Concert of Vocal
and Instrumental Music, at Trinity Church, on the 3d inst--
by which the sum of sixty-nine pounds seven shillings and
two pence was received and appropriated to their use and
benefit. Boston, October 12.
