New-York, July 7. On Wednesday a Pylacre arrived here from
the Havanas, with a part of the garrison of Pensacola, which
was surrendered on the 10th of May to Don Galvez, the
Spanish general, after being nine weeks invested. . . [10

sailing vessels] They marched out with all the honrs of
war, viz shouldered firelocks, drums beating, colours
flying, with two field pieces and six rounds to each, and
six rounds to each of the troops, moving to some hundred
yards distance from their several posts, where they piled
their arms, (the officers only reserving their swords) and
delivered their colour to a body of Spanish grenadiers
