Doctor W--, to the poor gratis, his advice gives,
At the house of Mrs. S---s, where he lives,
From nine to ten, A.M. six to seven, post,
In diseases which our bodies do accost.
Cases venereal, the most virulent,
Have, by his skill, in their stages different,
Been, salva constitution, expelled,
And in killing virus he's not excelled.
Consumptions, the many that happen, confirm'd,
With other chronic ails that puzzle the learn'd;
And the whole train of nervous evils brought on,
Which greatly do the constitution;
Often with purges, operating, drastic,
Which the animal frame now make elastic;
Or their falling into the hands of great quacks,
Ignorant, of the whole matter, as Tar-Jacks,
Gave birth to this generous publication,
To which we all ought to pay great attention.
Mr. Hall, if you insert the above lines, ---you will
thereby oblige your friend and customer, [signed] a true
German Doctor.
