We now behold the representatives chamber, court house and Faneuil-Hall, those seats of freedom and justice, occupied with troops . . . In the afternoon our artillery company appeared in the field and were exercised, their captain was informed by the officer of the Regulars, that is was not customary to beat drum, or fire after the evening cannon was discharged, the hint was taken. |
