Bost. Gaz. On Sunday the 18th instant, in the afternoon, a
quarrel happened between some soldiers and sailors belonging
to an armed schooner lying at Peck's wharf; a drummer had
his skull fractured, one of the sailors was knocked off the
wharf and it being high water, would have drowned, had he
not been assisted by a gentleman on the wharf.
Last Wednesday evening the assembly for the winter began
at Concert Hall; at which were present, the Honorable the
Commissioners of the Customs, Commodore Hood, Brigadier
General Pomeroy, and most of the Gentlemen of the Army and
Navy, &c. &c. &c.
