This evening, being the 10th instant, at Mrs. Jeffery's,
opposite the Town-House, will be read, a Ballad Opera,
call'd Damon & Phillida, by a person who has read and sung
in most of the great towns in America.
He personates all the characters, and enters into the
different humours or passions as they change from one to
another, throughout the Opera.
Between the acts will be sung some of the most celebrated
songs of the Opera Artaxerxes.
And at the conclusion will be sung a celebrated cantata,
called Neptune & Amymone, Tickets to be had at the
Printing-Office. To begin at Seven o'clock.
