Passes for a preacher, named John Jones.] He makes and sings, off a hand, songs on various subjects; and many are so imprudent as to give him money for his doggrel stuff. It is said he had a good deal of money given him for singing at the last Concord Court, and the last Court at Newbury-Port. Ipswich, Nov. 22, 1769. |
