Charlestown, S. Carolina, July 5.  [3 paragraphs describing
ceremonies honoring the Right Honorable William Pitt, Esq;
for promoting the repeal of the Stamp Act in 1766.  A statue
was raised in his honor.]
As soon as this was done, Lord Chatham's health was drank,
26 cannon were discharged, and St. Michael's Bell rang.--
Joy sat on every countenance.-- This evening the Club No.
45, consisting of a great body of the principal inhabitants,
are to meet at Messrs. Dillon and Gray's Tavern, where an
elegant entertainment is provided for them, when 45 toasts
will be drank.
