| Citation | EG.771.060 17-24 Dec 1771:872 (4/178) Boston, December 23. The new Baptist Meeting-House in this town being finished was opened yesterday. We hear that the exercises of the day were introduced by singing an Anthem taken out of the 122d psalm. . . The solemnity was then concluded with a second Anthem well adapted to the occasion. The singing was performed incomparably well by a select company, which gave great satisfaction to a crowded audience. |
