London, May 5. We can assure our readers from a most
respectable authority, that the advices received respecting
the French King, were, that his Majesty had been and was in
no danger, and that his physicians had no doubt but he would
get thro' his disorder safely. With the death of the French
King will, in all probability, expire the peace of Europe.
If Te Deum should therefore be sung at Versailles for his
recovery, the Closet-Cabal at Buckingham-House will be no
less thankful for an event on which depends the preservation
of their influence and their places.
