Quebec, October 13, 1774.  On the 18th ult. arrived from
London, in the Canadian, Capt. Abbot, a bell weighing
2500lb. being a present from his Lordship the Bishop of
Quebec to the Cathedral Church of Notre Dame in this city;
and on Thursday morning last, at ten o'clock, it was
baptized by the name of Louisa; . . . [6 lines follow on the
ceremony.] and the whole concluded with a Mass, celebrated
by the Coadjutor, and a solemn Te Deum.
