The 4th instant, being appointed for the christening of the
young Prince of Calabria, the Duke of Medina Celi, as proxy
from the King of Spain, was received at his palace, with
great formality, by the Duke of Miranda, in one of the

When the ceremony was over, the Duke of Medina Celi
returned to his palace, and entertained at dinner 208
persons at four tables; and in the evening he gave a
serenade; which was repeated on the 5th; and this evening he
has put an end to his entertainments by a ball.
