Monday last the birth of the Dauphin was celebrated here
with great joy and festivity by his Excellency M. de la
Luzerne, Minister Plenipotentiary of France. Te Deum was
sung at ten o'clock in the morning.

The were highly entertained with a concert of music, from
half after seven till nine in the evening, when the scene
changed to a regular and beautiful display of fireworks,
