Several Officers in the Service, who are now in this city,
desire to inform their fellow-citizens, that they do not
conceive the late article in your paper, styled "A
Theatrical Quere, " to have been written by any Officer of
the Army; for they are persuaded those gentlemen entertain
too confidential a sense of the wisdom of Congress, to
question their salutary resolutions, much less to request an
abolition of the wholesome one referred to.
