London, February 15. Though dancing be an indication of
joy, in this and other parts of Europe, we are told in some
parts of South America it is the effect of sorrow: And it
is certain that in North America the rebels and King's
troops have had many a sorrowful Dance. King David danced
before the ark, on its return to the city of Sion; but this
was a dance of joy: And no doubt King George would have no
objection to a dance on the return of his American colonies
to their allegiance.
