[London] Monday [August] 26. [Arrival of Princess of Saxe-
Gotha.] The Prince of Wales dined with her Highness at
Greenwich, in one of the rooms towards the Park, the windows
were thrown open, to oblige the curiosity of the people:
His Royal Highness afterwards gave her the diversion of
passing on the water, as far as the Tower, and back again in
his barge finely adorned, and preceeded by a concert of
music. The ships saluted their Highnesses all the way they
passed and hung out their streamers and colours, and the
river was covered with boats. Their Highnesses afterwards
supped in publick.

ceremony.] The marriage service was read by the Lord Bishop
of London, Dean of the Chappel; and after the same was over,
a fine anthem was performed by a great number of voices and
instruments. . .
