August 19, 1763. Ran away from the Baltimore Iron-Works,
three convict servant men, lately imported from Bristol to
Annapolis, viz.
John Pinemore, about 22 years of age, near 6 feet high,
dark complexion, speaks in the West-country dialect,
pretends to be a farmer and a tinker. . . [4 lines,
clothing]
Mortimore Sales, about 23 years of age, fair complexion,
brown curled hair tied, about 5 feet 8 inches high, pretends
he is an Englishmen, but the brogue on his tongue discovers
him to be an Irishman, can write, and says he understands
farming: Hand on when he went away. . . [5 lines, clothing]

They may all change their names, and steal other
cloathing. Pinemore and Sales are fiddlers.
Whoever apprehends said servants, so as they may be had
again, shall have thirty shillings, if taken 10 miles from
home; forty shillings, if 20 miles from home; and if out of
the province, five pounds, and reasonable charges, if
