By Authority, At the New Theatre in Annapolis, by the new
American Company of Comedians, on Saturday next, being the
4th instant, Will be presented a Tragedy, called Douglas, to
which will be added a Farce (never performed here) called
High Life Below Stairs.
On Thursday the 9th, will be presented The Jealous Wife,
with the Upholsterer; or, What News?
With entertainments of Singing and Dancing.
* * * Tickets to be had at Mr. Knapp's, near the Town-Gate,
and at the Bar of the Theatre.
[Hand pointing right] Lower Boxes, 7s. 6d.--- Pit, and Upper
Boxes, 5s.---
The doors to be opened at Four, and the Play to begin at Six
o'clock.
* * * The Tragedy of Richard III. and the Farce of Lethe,
advertis'd for this evening, are put off, on account of the
badness of the weather, 'til next Monday.
