To the gentlemen and ladies of Annapolis. June 18, 1779.
Las de Burchard is just arrived in this city, where he
proposes to teach the minuet as danced at Paris, and all the
other most elegant French country dances, rigadoons,
cotillions, &c. &c. - The public may rely on his assiduity
and care for the progress and perfection of the scholars,
and his utmost endeavors to merit their encouragement. He
also teaches the French language, and fencing, after the
most approved methods, and may be be spoke with at Mrs.
Howard's, opposite the Printing Office.
