London. Oct 20. This morning about 8 o'clock a great number
of freeholders of Middlesex, pursuant to advertisement, met
John Wilkes and John Glynn, Esqrs. at the mansion house,
from whence a cavalcade soon after set out for Brentford, in
the following order: Two flags with French-Horns, and
upwards of one hundred freeholders on horseback, preceeded
the Lord Mayor's coach, drawn by six horses, in which were
the candidates and his Lordship.
