(By permission.) At the New Theatre, Baltimore, this
evening, being the 23d of April, 1782, will be presented the
comedy of She Stoops to Conquer; or The Mistakes of a Night.
Sir Charles Marlow, Mr. Tilyard; Young Marlow, Mr. Heard;
Hardcastle, Mr. Lewis; Hastings, Mr. Smith, being his first
appearance on the stage; Tony Lumpkin, Mr. Wall; Diggory,
Mr. Shakespear; Servant, Mr. Atherton; Jeremy, Mr. Willis;
Members of the Blackguard Club, Messrs. Lindsay, Lewis,
Willis, Shakespear, &c. &c. Miss Hardcastle, Mrs. Robinson;
Miss Neville, Mrs. Bartholomew; Maid, Mrs. Elm; Mrs.
Hardcastle, Mrs. Wall.
To concluded with a dance by the characters.
To which will be added, a musical entertainment, called The
Padlock.
Boxes one dollar; pit five shillings; gallery three
shillings and nine-pence.
The doors to be opened precisely at five o'clock.
[hand pointing right] No persons can be admitted without
tickets, which may be had at the Coffee-House in Baltimore,
and at Lindsay's Coffee-House on Fell's Point.
*** No person will, on any pretence, be admitted behind
the scenes.
